National Scholarship Portal NSP- UGC Scheme

University Grant Commission (UGC) is a government statutory body which functions under the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

How to apply online in National Scholarship Portal?

          First step to register

First of all you have to go to the official website of scholarship scholarships.gov.in.
Here you have to click on the option of New Registration.

After this the NSP registration page will open in front of you.
Read the guidelines given to you by the Ministry carefully.
Click Continue to proceed to the next page.
After that you will have to enter the asked information.

Click on the register button.
You will receive the registration ID and password on the mobile number you have registered.

Step 2 -Register with the National Scholarship Portal

Before applying for scholarship, click on the login button.
You have to enter the registration number and password received on the registered email.

Step 3- Change password

After submitting the password and registration, you will receive an OTP number on your registered mobile number.
You have to enter the OTP number.
You will be instructed to change the password.
Change the password and then click on continue.

Step 4 – Enter the Dashboard

After changing the password you will be directed to the applicant dashboard page.
Click on Application Form to apply.
After that you will have to fill educational details, personal details.
After filling the information you have to click on Continue.
After this you will have to upload the documents related to the application.
Click Save as Draft.

Note – Let us tell you that the National Scholarship Portal will remain open for some time only. (NSP) is open for the academic year 2020-21. Therefore candidates are advised to check the date before applying. After the expiry of the date you will not be able to avail the benefits of the scheme.
